I saw Furthur and Mickey's band a few days apart in July. Mickey is definitely pushing in a different direction, even with the Dead tunes, that I really enjoyed.

Phil and Bob: credit where it's due, at least they are putting an effort into switching up the setlists. They went through 100 songs on the recent tour before repeating any (yes, I got bored at work and counted). God knows they could just alternate Dark Star/The Other One at their shows and people would be happy.
